How G8s work, and why they're so different...

A point of reference

Typically there are three types of products on offer in the insole market:

1. 'Comfort insoles' which are simple generic, usually squishy shoe inserts which provide a cushioning effect in the shoe; typically made from gel or soft foam.

2. Custom orthotics, which are individually created via prescription to address specific foot problems.

Custom orthotics fix the foot in one position, which unfortunately limits natural foot function.

3. 'Support insoles' - these are typically usually made of a harder type of foam.

These insoles are made to give arch support for feet, as well as stability and mitigate issues such as splayed feet, dropped arches, and plantar fasciitis.

The G8 difference

G8 Performance Insoles encourage natural foot movement - exercising the muscles, increasing blood flow and engaging the nerves and receptors of the foot.

The feet are the body’s “self-levellers”. They function most naturally when bare, allowing the bones to move, the muscles to strengthen, and the blood to flow optimally.

(This is why beach walking barefoot is so beneficial).

When feet are in shoes, natural movement is inhibited – this compromises the function of the foot and leads to compression of bones, muscles, blood vessels and nerves.

This impacts negatively on balance, flexibility, strength, and overall stability, and can lead to a myriad of problems in the feet.

The body then compensates in an unnatural way and problems can extend up the legs and even into the hips and back.

Bottom line: G8 Performance insoles deliver you completely customizable, orthotic insoles you can quickly and easily adjust yourself.

Truly customized comfort, less injuries and ultimate performance.

For sport, and life.

A true biomechanical solution

G8 Performance orthotic Insoles provide a biomechanical solution to foot problems at their source:

1. By maximising splaying and flexion of the forefoot.

2. Supporting the arches, maintaining optimal bone structure

3. Increasing foot blood flow.

4. Reawakening nerve receptors for increased proprioception

(i.e. Reawakening your subconscious awareness of your body, its movement and positioning - through the feet)

5. Lessening pain.

6. Increasing force out of the bottom of the foot.

7. Increasing strength and flexibility of the foot over time.

8. Decreasing return of force up the leg.

9. And enhancing balance and stability.

G8 insoles enable flexion and splaying of the forefoot under the body’s load, so that the feet function in the same way as they would without a shoe.

They flex with your foot, are fully adjustable, and are a dynamic device that works with the natural mechanics of your foot - a true suspension system for your arches, stability at your heel, and cushioning under the metatarsal bones at the ball of the foot.

With g8s in your shoes, you’ll perform better and you’ll feel better doing it.

That's our promise.
